When I first saw these, I rejected the design. I couldn't stand them. But, they quickly grew on me. I actually love this ship, now.
I remember when I first saw TIE fighters, I didn't like those either. And, TIEs are awesome, aren't they?
I think the reason I love this ship now is for the same reason that I originally rejected it. Because the design was so different from what we've seen before. Before TPM came out, I'd argue that this ship doesn't fit into the SW universe.
But, it's a damn cool ship, I think now.
