Great stuff! Those posts were what originally inspired me to drum up the idea of a Star Wars Mania sandbox on Tatooine a few years ago, which is what I'm on about in the " Star Wars 'D&D' modules: What would it look like?" thread. I still haven't run it, but I've been slowly trawling the sources and taking notes. Now that this place is up, I'm hoping I can start putting some of that stuff up, sooner rather than later. There's just something really cool about having a game set on Tatooine, but really going all out with the crazy stuff that was once possible in Star Wars before TESB hammered down the idea of a canon. Crazy old Jedi hermits everywhere. Stormtroopers dueling with lightsabers and force shields. No list of alien races, you're just an 'Alien'. Plenty of lost ruins to explore, maybe to hunt for Kaiburr crystals (why else would all those Jedi and Sith hermits be out in the desert?). |

I gotta say, I’m not super-pumped about the idea of a Ben Kenobi standalone movie, but if they were going to do it along these lines, that could be pretty rad.
