AWESOME old fan work I’ve come across… I have to wonder what happened to him and if there was ever any expansion on this work. I have found him online and will drop him a line to see if he is interested in discussing his work.

Star wars planets V1.0
By Tony J. Case
(desslok@elwha.evergreen.edu)
Well, I suppose that this should be a much later version number,
but this is the first one released to the public. Later updates will
fill in the blanks (missing planet descriptions and the sources on
where to find them), and new material (Empires End, the X-Wing books,
the new TIE Fighter TOD, and so on). I've tried to be consistent in
the details of the planet, but some of the descriptions are as
in-depth as just a name and the main race found there. I'm trying to
fix that- it's a long process . If the entry is blank, either there
wasn't anything mentioned about the planet in the work. (tho a few
slipped past the editing process. Oops)
Reading the map- with the core at the bottom of the page, the
listings start in the upper left sector and read left to right. I
haven't gotten around to such fine details as actual location of a
planet in a sector (somebody ELSE can do that), The game (and map
construction) started with the Astoria sector, and spread outwards
from there, so the north quadrant might be a little more detailed
that the other three- tho I have tried to keep it balanced.

Some notes on how to read the map. Sector 29 (the deep core)
always points to the center of the galaxy. (It should be down on the
North Quad, up on the South, the left on the East, and right on the
West) This sector, in theroy, should be square, where all the others
have about the dimentions of a 8 1/2 by 11 piece of notebook paper.
Each sector originally was 1 inch across by 1 1/2 inch down. I'm
not sure how it'll work out on your screen or with your printer. Some
adjustment might be necessary, but you get the general idea.
Hyperspace works out to be about 60 hours per inch on a trade
route, or 70 off a route, up to GM's call for off the beaten path. The
trade routes aren't marked, so you have to use your best judgement for
plotting courses and figuring out travel times. Just assume a large
network corewards, getting lesser further out.
The top two rows (1-14) are the outer rim. 15-24 are the inner
systems, and 25-28 can be considered the core worlds. Off the north
end of the map is Wild Space, generaly unknown and uncharted- make it
up as you go. You'll notice that quadrants dont line up perfectly,
leaving empty space to the north-west, north-east, south-west and
south-east. I've always considered those to be the gaps in the spiral
arms of the galaxy. You can cross them, but doing so is stupid and
slow going (no charts).
Anyway, have fun with the maps. I'm going to take a long nap
now...

Nessassary Legal Crap:
Well, I'm not sure what should go in here, so heres my best
guess- All of this stuff (except for a few planets of my own design)
is the property of West End Games, Lucasfilm LTD, Marvel Comics, Dark
Horse Comics, Bantam Books, and generaly everyone else who has Star
Wars Licenses. (I think that covers everyone)
I guess that means that the planets left over are mine. Please
feel free to use it or abuse them as you see fit. All I ask is that
you simply give me credit for the files (I did spend 2 years on it,
after all).
This work is Postcard-ware. It's totaly and completly free. To
register it, just send me a postcard from wherever this thing showed
up. I want to see how far it'll spread.
Peace.

This is a work in progress, so please keep that in mind (it's not
even been spellchecked yet). This version was originally meant for my
group's use, so there might need to be clarification for people from
the outside world about some things- but that's what V2.0 is for,
huh? :) As always, feedback is welcome (and encouraged).
Thanx to Dan, who's work helped me fill in the blanks (we
invented the wheel at the same time). Get his copy- mail him at

better days. A dumping ground for old ships, machinery, and other
wastes.
Kuras (p. ) an unexplored, unsettled, and proably unvisited world.
Lanthrym: Passed up for a spot on the E-D run, the planet's
population is resentful of the insult. Due to the weak econmey, and
desire to get even with everyone else, criminals are allowed to
operate with minimal interference.
Coyn (p. ): A flat temperate planet, gateway to the sector. Home
of a brutal, warrior culture.
Bodrin (p. ): A stopover on the E-D route
Kidron (p. ): A hot jungle covered planet. A settlement of

disappeared after a dispute with the Corporate Sector Authority over
land-use rights and stock prices.
Mytus/Star's End (HSCSA p.52-60) Home of the Coperate Sector
Authority's prison facility. Mytus is a rocky airless planet at the
edge of its solar system.
Rampa (HSR): this planet's ecosystem is on the verge of collapse,
due to the out of control industry there. the air is polluted, the
water is poison, and the land is so barren it can barly support
produce. The population has been herded into small areas and must make
do with synthetic nutrients instead of real food. Any smuggler making
it through the security with water (R'alla mineral water is the most
popular) has made a big profit.
Orron III (HS@SE): A fertile agricultural planet at a strategic
location within the Corporate Sector. The green and blue world has
almost no axial tilt, resulting in a year-round growing season. The
Corporate Sector Authority tends the endless fields with robot
agricultural machines, and has constructed a city-sized Authority Data
Center on the planet. The only space traffic allowed on the world are
Authority ships and massive agricultural drone barges. The spaceport
is extremely large, built to accommodate the arriving and departing
robo-barges.

pureity and medicnal benifits. It is also a main ingredient in certain
bootleg intoxicants.
Lafra (HS@SE) A planet located near the CSA space. Home of an
intelligant grey skinned humanoids. these beings were once winged
flyers, but evolved past the ability.
Ruuria (HSLL) Home to an insectoid species. The worlds socity is
made up of 143 colonies and every ruurian belongs to a single colony
for life.
Tynna (HSR): The homeworld of the otter-like Tynnans. Most
Tynnans have a layer of fat beneath their skin to protect them from
the cold waters of their planet. Odumin, the Corporate Sector
Authority territorial manager (also known as Spray the skip- tracer),
was a native of Tynna.
Urdur (HS@SE): site of a outlaw tech base just outside the
corperate sector.

without eyes yet can see through the use of the Force. Many of the
Miraluku become Jedi. Shoaneb Culu, a Jedi knight who lived four
thousand years ago, was a native of Alpheridies.
Dalron Five (MTS): A planet devastated by the Empire during the
infamous Siege of Dalron Five. Siege warfare techniques developed by
Alliance General Jan Dodonna were used by the Empire in this assault.
Refugees from the planet were later encountered by Shistavanen Wolfman
scout Lak Svivrak living on a rocky moon.
Gand (MTS): Gand is a primarily gaseous planet and home to the
alien species also called Gand. Gand society is composed of "pocket
colonies" separated by enshrouding mists, and the Gand government is a
totalitarian monarchy established centuries ago. Locating fugitives in
the thick gasses is the responsibility of Gand "findsmen," who
worship the mists and use religious rituals to lead them to their
targets. Due to Gand's unique atmosphere, all Gand must wear some type
of breathing apparatus when off- planet. After Gand and its slave
trade were taken over by the Empire, the Imperials' advanced
technology made the arcane techniques of the findsmen largely
obsolete.
SLUIS
Elom (HESB p.84): A cold barren desert world rich in mineral resources.
Bpfassh (HTTESB p78-79): Battleground for a dark Jedi during the
clone wars. They dont like Jedi much.
Sluis Van (HTTESB p.90): A major shipyards in the north quad
Dagobah (HTTESB p.82-83): Yoda's home.
Praesitlyn (HTTE): The location of a major communications
station, located within sixty light- years of Bpfassh in the Sluis
sector.
Hindasar system (MTS): The infamous criminal known as Dr. Evazan
set up a "medical" practice in the Hindasar system after escaping from
the prison world of Delrian.
Firro (MTS): Many deaths and atrocities were committed on Firro
during its brutal subjugation by the Empire, and Lord Cuvir was
installed as Imperial Governor of Firro. During a visit to a Firro
relief station, Cuvir witnessed the skill of Imperial medical droid
Too-Onebee and made the droid his personal physician. Too-Onebee has
since joined the Alliance.
Gandolo IV (MTS): A barren, rocky moon located in the Outer Rim.
A group of Wookiee settlers, aided by Chewbacca, were attempting to
establish a colony on the moon when they were discovered by the bounty
hunter Bossk. Bossk and his men, who were in the employ of the
Imperial sector governor, abandoned their attempt to capture the
Wookiees after Han Solo disabled their ship by landing on it.
Randon (SA): Female ward-cousins on the planet Randon are
traditionally honored (due to their potential inheritance) and are
customarily served first. Randoni women wear their hair loose and
flowing, and an alcoholic drink from Randon is the Randoni Yellow
Plague.
Kerest (45-47) Kerestians dont have much of a homeworld anymore.
It was destroyed years ago, and the species were thought extinct-
until a colonly sleeper ship was found.
GORDIN REACH
Noe'ha'on: (GG#12 p.66-67) Homeworld of the Noehons.
Carraz (GG#12 p.70-72): Ranth live in an artic enviroment,
because the planet is tide locked. Half the planet faces away from the
sun constantly, leaving it constantly dark and cold. The day side is
brutaly hot, and devoid of water. Glacier movment occures from the
constantly heated planetary surface, which also keeps the planet from
becoming uninhabitably cold.
Vengler (GG#9) A quaint, rustic world. Discovered by the Empire
only a few years ago, Vengler has only the most primitive of space
ports, and dozens of open air markets. The Majority of the population
of the planet work on small farms, barly existing at subsistance
level. More cosmoploitan characters will sum the planet up in one
word: Dirtball.
Marca (Planets/Mist) Located in the Marca Nebula, this planet
dosent exist, officaly. Marca was a Imperial Hyperbaride Synthesis
plant, well hidden and garrasoned. However that didnt stop the Chaos
Crew from shutting the plant down and saving the natives there.
Krylon (#25)
torque (#25)
Yavin (GG#2): Lots of wreckage from the Death Star is here.
Kashyyyk (HTTESB): Wookies grow here.
Ban-Satir (HS@SE) The planet's claim to fame is Norvanian Grog,
an expensive and potant intoxicant. It is produced and marketed from
the isle of N'van in the northern hemisphere.
EMPTY

has been providing guidance and aid to Brigga's development and
modernazation initiative.
Dellalt (HSLL): The planet was important in the time of the old
republic's expansionist peroid. Now the world is mostly forgotten, far
from trade routes and major space lanes. Dellalt has two moons
orbiting it's watery surface. While the majority of the planet is
covered by water, the three main landmasses extend far enough above
the water line to provide living space for the planet's inhabatants.
History and ledgands from the expansionist period claim that the
planet is the site of Xim the Despot's colossal vaults, in which he
stored treasure looted from a thousand worlds.
Vontor: (HSLL): The site of the Third Battle of Vontor, the final
defeat of the historical tyrant Xim the Despot. During this battle,
Xim's orbital fortress and nearly all of his war-robots were vaporized.
Daluuj (CSW #13): A miserable, backwater Imperial training
outpost. The weather is constantly a storm, making visibility minimal,
and sensors almost useless. Its a fun spot.
KIRA
Krann (TSK P.39,40): Mining and crystal crystal processing.
Brevost (TSK p.5)
Cerenia (TSK p.69): Residence of the Imperial Governor Bursthed.

routes. Mining indurstry mainly.
Nigel (TSK p.10): Human colony
Roldalna (tsk p.5): Your guess is as good as mine.
Ropagi (TSK p.50-59): A world of pacifistic philosophers and
intellectuals.
Pax (TSK p. 60): a world of natives, exploited for their
precious gems.
Seltos (TSK p.75): A low population planet that recieved only
minor Imperial attention in the past. Primary industry is food
production, with lumber and ore mining providing the rest of the
planet's income.
BENSLURAHK
Trebela- A major Rebel network was exposed in Trebela's capital
city by Imperial Governor Kraxith. Surprisingly, most of the Rebel
groups discovered had been working independently and were not aware
of the others' activities. [SWSB]
Yuga Two- A planet covered with dense rainforests and clinging
trees, Yuga Two is a popular tourist destination due to the Yuga
Planetary Park. Alliance historian Voren Na'al bought passage from
Yuga Two to Tatooine on a Galaxy Tours ship to begin documenting the
histories of the Heroes of Yavin. [MTS]
Galvoni III (MTS): The location of an Imperial military
communications complex. Alliance historian Voren Na'al infiltrated the
complex following the Battle of Yavin in order to gain more
information about the Death Star project.
Firrerre (CS): All life on the planet Firrerre was wiped out
through the Empire's use of a biological weapon, and it is still
unsafe for any ships to land there. The devastation was ordered by
Hethrir, the Imperial Procurator of Justice (himself a native of
Firrerre) and carried out by the Empire's elite Starcrash Brigade. The
people of Firrerre, humanoids with long, striped hair, were believed
to have been rendered extinct by the death of their world.
Gelviddis Cluster (COTJ): An atypical type of sand is located on
a world in the Gelviddis Cluster. The unique composition of this sand
allows Jedi to easily form it into familiar shapes and images through
the use of the Force.
CENTRALIA
(most of these come from the 1st edition GM pack. I dont have it
handy, so these will be filled in later)
St. Croix/Del Rio: Home of Omnicorp, Dana's operation and
ex-location of The Bar.
Deysum: Imperial sector HQ, toxic wasteland and domed cities
Ugo'cor
Algunis
Harstol Cortheium Mining, mainly barren rock
Bandai: Tundra mid tech world
Entrus: Location of the Wheel. Boring planet, cool space station.
Tela Mosna: An industrial world, but mainly offices and such.
Tagge industries ownes most of the planet and runs their business from
here (or from the corperate sector)
Iskalon: A race of water breathers live here, inslaved by the
Empire for the longest time. Hoever a visit from Luke Skywalker
changed all that, when the Empire enacted genocide to try and
eliminate commander Skywalker. Since then, the Iskalonians have
withdrawn from the rest of the universe.
Watizit: A large astroid field held in place by a giant black
hole. The Rebellion had a fuel mining operation there for some time,
until an Imperial test flight wandered in and shut operations down.
Venna: Tagge industrial world, heavly garrisoned, heavy imperial
Gamorr: Gamorrian homeworld
Bundum: Blockaded urban wasteland planet sympathetic to the rebellion
Fenhern
Vendrid: Republic prison colony located on a barren moon
Dressol: main Rebel fighter base for the sector. Mainly brush plains.
P'hish: frontier old west like world- but jungle
Zeltros (Several marvel comics): Inhabited by a race of red
skinned, fun loving aliens. The planet is mainly a hedonistic culture
and the planet reflects that.
Lexrul: Priates, thugs settlers and space stations
Rugern: Last traiding post in the sector, a rugged fronter world
Kalinda (TSK P.20,22): discovered long ago during the old
republic, the planet is the front line between the Republic, Imperial,
and Corperate sector
Bo'saino: Xenophobic aliens. Planet type: ???
Orleon (#28): A miserable and uninviting place, Han Solo set up
shop as an emergencry stop-over. The rain comes down in buckets
constantly, leaving the planet covered in mud. The other outstanding
point is that the whole planet is a stone mite infestation. Stone
Mites are a biological weapon developed during the clone wars. Their
bodies manufacture an acid that enables them to eat through anything.
The mites were designed to move through solid rock, feeding on veins
of ore, specialy created to devour a planets mineral resources. They
reproduce rapidly, and usualy move in swarms, thousands up to millions
of them, eating everything in their way.
ASTORIA
(Everything in Astoria is home-made for my campaign. I could
remove it, but that would leave me with an empty sector. Anyway, it'd
tear my hear out- I've put a lot of work into this one)
Brita-Kajarro: Due to the Imperial drydock and shipyards here,
Brita is probably the most second most defended planet in the Astoria
sector. Although a non discript planet with only one city, that city
dominates a 10 mile section of the contintant.
The system was chosen for its closeness to the nearby asteroid
belt. Navigating in and out is far more difficult, but with the mining
and refining the ore (supplemented with a supply from Yutani), ship
construction is far more simple. The nearby asteroids are launched at
an unpopulated portion of the planet, burning off the useless ore as
they re-enter and making them more accessable than if mined in space.
Sorini: What can you say about the Imperial capitial of the
sector. The cities construction tends to look a lot like Matsomoto's
vision of Japan from Star Blazers- lots of tube cars, angular
buildings, and underground cities. Grand Moff Foxton runs a tight
ship, keeping her territory quiet and orderly. The oppressive fist of
the Empire keeps the rebellion off planet in all forms, even as a
rumor.
Residia: Probably the major trading world in the north quadrant,
just behind Corellia in shipping, exporting and importing. The best
pilots may be Corellian, but the most insane pilots are Residian.
Berin: Barren, devistated by the Empire as a show of force to the
sector.
Venize: A truly wonderous resort world- operating most of the
time in direct conflict with nearby St. Croix.
Derham: The sectors main university world. Although not nearly as
well informed or worldly as CSA one, Derham gets on quite well.
Albolen: Westworld entertainment theme parks.
Serrano: The academic center of the sector, located on an ocean planet.
Gothica: The standard of living is low here, imposed by big
business out to rape the planet. The citie are dark, and laid out as
if the designers were on drugs. Not a happy place to live.
Curran: Museum/libary plains and wet hidrosphere
Rizzardi: Outside the domed cities, life is impossable. Inside
however, Rizzardi is a comfortable place to live. There is only one
domed city, but it has spread to many sub-complexes- almost cities
into themselves. Several of the sub-complexes are automated factories,
churning out high tech goods for sale and distrubution. All space ship
traffic is handled through the siveable orbiting platform. Access
planetside is through one of several beanstalk elevator systems. Goods
are mainly exchanged at the station, with mainly only natives and
tourists going planetside.
Kalonne: A forrest planet, which supplies much of the sector's
agroculture needs.
Quinsay: Remote research on a volcanic planet.
Ravalox: A truly boring planet, with a orbiting space station
being the world's only intresting bit. Ravalox Station is a truck
stop, cargo transfer point and Hyperspace refrence point all rolled
into one.
Curaris: A jungle fronter planet barely scraping by.
Ghotus: An advanced colony on a desert world.
Barga: The Empire conquered this atmoic level planet and began
exported the residents as slaves.
Drax: A mid tech level trading planet, mostly caves and tunnels.
Varda: An ice world slightly more comfortable than Hoth, located
in an isolated regoin of the sector. The planet has more trees and
rivers, more like a sibirian tundra than a wasteland. Varda is used
mostly by two pirate and smuggler groups as a base of operations. The
Black Hole gang and Haliey's Raiders mostly ingore each other and
operate normaly.
Gavigan: A mining world, it's ecosystem ruined by the Oplem
Mining corp, who ownes the planet.
Avendell: An asteroid belt used by independant miners to supply
Yutani with ore.
Yutani: A major manufacturing planet, taking in all the raw
material from Gavigan and Avendell. The planet is a dark, opressive
place- you hardly ever see the sun, and breath masks are required for
long term trips outdoors.
Sathar: One of the major battles of the civil war was fought
here, with the Evil Lord Darth Vader spearheading a major purge of the
rebellion's Jedi, and coming close to destroying the command of the
north quardrant.
Coriolis: A swamp world populated by intelligent humanoid rats.
SENEX
Yetoom (COTJ): Located on the edge of the Senex sector, is the
base of operations for Fargednim P'taan, a moderately big drug dealer.
Greeb-Streebling Cluster (COTJ): A cluster located in the Ninth
Quadrant, near the Senex and Juvex sectors.
Mussubir III (COTJ): A planet possibly in the Senex sector. The
uncommitted ex-governor of Mussubir Three took a "vacation" to attend
a meeting on Belsavis with Roganda Ismaren.
Karfeddion (COTJ): Located in the Senex sector, Karfeddion is the
site of several slave farms run by the House Vandron. Breeding farms
are designed to produce Ossan and Bilanaka slaves, tailored for
agricultural work. During an economic depression on Karfeddion, Lady
Theala Vandron was summoned to the High Court of Coruscant to defend
the slave farms on her homeworld.
Belsavis (COTJ): Belsavis is a world of volcanic rift valleys
separated by miles of icy glaciers. The inhabited, steam-filled rifts
are heated by the planet's core, which feeds mud pots and hot springs
on the surface. The cities within the rifts, some of them covered by
light-amplification domes, include Wutz, Bot-Un, Mithipsin, and Plawal
(formerly called Pletwell). The enormous rift-covering domes, buoyed
by antigrav units in their apices, support a vast network of hanging
gardens and moveable growing beds. The domes also protect against the
periodic cold storms that formerly swept into the rifts from the
surrounding glaciers.
Gathus (COTJ): The twenty-five man skating team from Gathus
played the planet Lafra in several games of a puttie series. Han Solo
watched the final match while on a mission to Belsavis.
JURVEX
Sunaj (TOD5): An Imperial repair facility located near the
northern edge of the sector
Hirom (#90-107) Nothing is known about the world, except that the
natives seem themselves as great warriors with a destiny to conqure
the galaxy. This couldnt be further from the truth. In reality, they
turn out to be cowardly bugs with delusions of grandure
Habassa (TOD5): Homeworld of the Habassins, a race that helped
out the rebellion relocate the fleet to Hoth. Turned into an asteroid
field by Leader Desslok and his superweapon.
Trenwyth (#103) A war ravaged world, long since dead. The system
is occationaly used to travel through, as nobody ever goes there. Many
ruins of a once great civilzation there.
Farfield (TOD5): Imperial patrol squadron base. Corvettes,
gunboats and small patrol ships depart constantly. Most patrols
eventualy wind up at Feenex, the other patrol base in the sector.
Telos 4 (#16) A medical research outpost. The manigment is
netural in the galatic fight, fixing people from either side.
Bespin (GG2): Cloud City is located here.
Derra 4 (ESBR): Site of a sigificant Rebel defeat just before the
battle of Hoth. An Alliance convoy with much needed supplies were
ambushed by several TIE fighter squads. The convoy was smashed, and
all rebellion personel were killed.
Hoth (ESB) An Alliance base at one time, but never the main
command base, or the site of a major battle. Hoth maintianed it's
quiet obscurity.
Retep (TOD5) a major supplier of grain to the Empire, and the
whole sector.
Bofa (TOD5): Imperial intelligance network HQ for the sector.
Yunkor (TOD5): An outlieing Imperial equipment staging area
Anoat (ESB, JS, DA): The system contains the planets Anoat,
Gentes (the homeworld of the pig-like Ugnaughts), and the colony
world of Deyer. Deyer is a colony world composed of floating raft
cities, terraformed lakes, and abundant fish and crustacean life. The
colonists on Deyer had created a peaceful, democratic political system
until they spoke out against the destruction of Alderaan, paving the
way for a brutal military takeover of Deyer by Imperial troops.
Pii (TOD5): A general convoy stopover and truckstop from the
north part of the sector to the south.
Feenex (TOD5): The second Imperial patrol base in the sector.
Feenex is much smaller, but just as busy- more of a stopover than a
repair and resupply base.
CHEHALIS
Marat V/Skye (Annual 1): A restricted world. Consists mostly of
rocky, jagged mountains and grassy plains. An full Imperial garrason
is maintained here. The natives are off colored humanoids with wings.
Also native are the ferce Catuman warriors, cat like creatures that
could give a wookiee a run for his money in a fight.
Balis Baurgh (AJ#1 p. 177) A system naturaly shielded by the
numerous gas clouds and heavy solar radiation. The space station there
is an Imperial prison facility, all fully automated.
Hijarna (LC p.73): An out of the way planet used as a smuggler
hide out by Talon Karrde, among others.
Tirahnn (annual 1): location of an ancient, legendary bazar.
Leading trade nexus of the entire stlar cluster, a city larger than
some countries. It's acritechure ranging from the street level hurly
burly of the fair to mile high coperate skyscrapers and luxury
palaces. The heights are homes of Tirahnn's elite, the merchant
princes who rule this world- huge fantastic pallaces sprawling across
miles of ground, or reaching impossably into the emerald sky.
Onderon (TOTJ #1): A planet contacted by the Republic thousands
of years ago, when the natives asked the Republic's Jedi to end the
state of war there that had been going on for years. The warfare was
perpuated by a ruler who dabbled in the Dark side, a follower of
Freedon Nadd- a Dark Lord of the Sith. After a great battle, the Evil
there was defeated and the planet was asorbed into the growing
Republic. One of four moons orbiting the planet is home to numerous
monsters. Due to Dxun's erratic orbit, several of the creatures were
able to migrate to the surface of Onderon ages ago during a brief
period in which the two worlds' atmospheres intersected.
Shalyvane (#60) Very little is known about the planet, history or
otherwise. What is known is that the populace was an industrous,
peaceful people, when alowed to be. Bands of nomad barbarians,
xenophobic in the extreme, kept everyone wallowing in a series of
senseless battles, for no other reason but for the enjoyment of the
fray. When the barbarians unexpectedly made peace overtures, the
Shalyvains took them up on it. When both sides were gathered for the
peace treaty singing, the Empire showed up, and bombed the party out
of existance. The Nomads had sold the Shalyvains out, telling the
Empire they were in leuge with the alliance. However there was a
deeper, more evil purpose behind the destruction. The Evil Lord Vader
required the elminination of the civlilzation to establish a credable
background for a project- the destruction of Luke Skywalker.
Tanaab (ROTJ, DFR, DLOTS): Four thousand years ago, the freighter
"Kestrel Nova" was captured from space pirates near the agricultural
world of Taanab and was used by Ulic Qel-Droma to travel to the Tetan
system. Millennia later, the planet was annually raided by bandits
from Norulac. Lando Calrissian (on a bet) destroyed the raiders by
using unorthodox but effective flying skills and battle tactics, and
was promoted to Alliance general partly on the notoriety of this
incident. Years later, Joruus C'baoth coordinated an Imperial attack
on Taanab, where he used the Bellicose's turbolasers to destroy a New
Republic ship over the direct orders of Captain Aban.
Norulac (ROTJ): The planet Norulac housed a company of bandits
who annually raided Tanaab, until they were wiped out by Lando
Calrissian.

Meru was a meeting place of 10,000 Jedi Knights, who gathered to put a
stop to the Kranth and their evil ways. Now the planets main
attraction is it's one of the main sites of the Drogheda Mining
operation.
Ord Trasi (LC p.76): Major ship building facility for the Empire.
Junction (#27) One of many such planets, scattered against the
backdrop of outworlds. Essentially a trading post, gathering place,
and watering hole for those that roam beyond civilized systems. Anyone
seeking supplies, particularly those who find imperial regulation
distasteful, find their way here. The Rebellion got a large chunk of
their supplies here.
The Empire patrols the main space ways into the system, but is
unable to blockade an asteroid corridor leading in, due to the size of
the capital ships. Pirates and smugglers use the corridor to it's full
potential.
Golrath (#50 & 64) A young, volcanic planet with an abandoned ore
smelting plant. The plant served as a one time rebel base
Beheboth: (#66): A dry, desert like planet in the orbit of a
nebula with ten suns. The planet has moisture farmers, much like
tatooine, but they're much more orginized. Now space rubble thanks to
Desslok's wrath

years ago in Pre-Republic days. No records exist of this early
colonization, and the Renatasians gradually became unaware of their
extrastellar origin. Renatasia III and IV are green, pleasant worlds,
though the Renatasians had colonized every planet in their system by
the time they were discovered by a damaged trader ship. The Empire
decided to send representatives to probe the society's weaknesses, and
the Ottdefa Osuno Whett and the droid Vuffi Raa were sent as envoys to
the nation-state of Mathilde on Renatasia IV's second-largest
continent. After observing the locals for 700 days, a full report was
transmitted and the Imperial fleet arrived, which began to collect
slaves and taxes. The Renatasians resisted, and the fleet attempted to

were constructed by a now-vanished civilization and are now used as
provincial capitals by the Codru-Ji. Codru-Ji society is based on a
complicated system of political families and entities (including the
Sibiu, the Temebiu, and the province of Kirl) and is headed by
Chamberlain Iyon. Coup abduction and ransom in this society is a
common and expected political maneuver, during which no one of noble
birth is to be injured. Animal life on Munto Codru includes a
four-winged bat and the six-legged, fanged wyrwulfs, which are
actually the Codru-Ji themselves in the earliest, infant stage of
their lives. [CS]

include minerals, ores, and primitive fuels.
Orellon (AJ#2 p. 194): An unxeplored planet of Jungles,
oceans, and plains.
Spindrift (#60): Location of am Imperial communuications relay
outpost.
Hosrel XI (LCST): The location of a remote navy base, where a
squadron of pilots had a brief battle with Lehesu of the Oswaft.
ThonBoka (LCST): The StarCave is a sack-shaped grey nebula
composed of dust, gas, and complex organic molecules. It can be
entered only from one direction, and its lightning-charged interior
spans over twelve light-years. The ThonBoka has given rise to
thousands of space-dwelling lifeforms, ranging from the intelligent,
manta ray-like Oswaft to carapace-creatures and interstellar plankton
which serve as the Oswafts' food. The Oswaft, ruled by a council of
Elders and capable of naturally traversing hyperspace, tend to be
cautious creatures who never leave the safety of their habitat. Three
blue-white stars, located in the center of the nebula, surround the
Cave of the Elders-- the only architectural structure in the ThonBoka.
LAVE
Antipose XII (LCFO): While on a mission in the Oseon, Lando
Calrissian used the password "dubesor"-- a native insult on Antipose
XII.
Phraetiss (DFR): Lando Calrissian ran a botched operation on
Phraetiss about ten years- before the rise of Grand Admiral Thrawn. It
was here that he made the acquaintance of the smuggler Niles Ferrier.
Dilonexa XXIII (LCFO): Dilonexa XXIII orbits a giant
blue-white star along with 39 other planets. Dilonexa XXIII is the
only world capable of supporting life, as the inner 22 are far too hot
and the outer 17 too cold. The planet is nearly 25,000 kilometers in
diameter, but its lack of heavy metals gives it a tolerable gravity.
Dilonexa XXIII is entirely given over to agriculture. Its farms
stretch across the entire surface of the planet, providing foodstuffs,
plastics, fuels, and grain for the herds of native bovine. Weather-
controlling satellites in orbit help keep the city-sized tornadoes in
check with energy weaponry. All heavy metals must be imported to the
planet, and the Dinonexican colonists have developed an allergic
reaction to foods containing too many trace metals.
Oseon (LCFO): Composed of nothing but thousands of asteroids,
Oseon is famous for its wealthy inhabitants and its booming tourist
trade. Seven wide bands of asteroids orbit their sun, and many of
these bodies have been turned into luxury resorts or private estates.
Many tourists come to see the famous Flamewind of Oseon, a yearly
phenomenon caused by an increase in stellar flares. The flares
interact with asteroid vapor, creating brilliant bands of ionized gas
thousands of kilometers long that fill the system with fluorescing
colors. The Flamewind lasts an average of three weeks, and the strong
radiation prevents all communications and in-system space traffic with
the exception of message torpedoes. Carrying personal weapons in the
Oseon is a capital offense.
Rafa (LCMS): The eleven planets and numerous moons of the Rafa
system are covered with the enormous plastic ruins of the ancient
Sharu. The buildings are among the largest constructions in the galaxy
and are quite impenetrable. Many human colonies, dating from the early
days of the Old Republic, have sprung up around and between the
structures. The system was also inhabited by a primitive humanoid
species known as the Toka, who were treated as slaves by the Rafa
colonists. The system is famous for its life orchards-- groves of
crystalline trees whose crystal "fruit" can extend an individual's
life when harvested and worn. Working among the crystal trees
themselves, however, drains a person's life and intellect, and
consequently most of the harvesting is done by the Toka or the
criminals in the Rafa's numerous penal colonies. Following Lando
Calrissian's procurement of the Mindharp from Rafa V, the Toka were
revealed to actually be the Sharu and regained their civilization and
mental abilities.
Dela system (LCMS): Lando Calrissian's destination before
visiting the Oseon was the Dela system, but he decided against it due
to the tricky landing required on a mountaintop spaceport. [LCMH]
Antipose IX (LCMS): A pilot droid that Lando Calrissian rented
to take him from the Oseon to Rafa IV once held a job on the pleasure
yacht Arleen, which departed from Antipose IX.
KESS
Trammis III (LCMS): Trammis III is famous as the home of the
gigantic reptiloids sometimes called dinosaurs. The inhabitants of the
planet speak Trammic, which is related to the Old High Trammic spoken
by the Toka of the Rafa system.
Ringneldia (LCST): Lando Calrissian picked up replacement
parts for the Millennium Falcon while in the Ringneldia system, where
all part sizes are standardized around the diameter of a native bean.
Hockaleg (#51-52) A dedicated construction site, designed to
build the super huge battle fortress decendant of the Death Star- the
Tarkin.
Patriim (#51): Imperial communications post, mud ball, smells
like a wet bantha. Base underground.
Varn (HSR): An aquatic planet, Varn is the subject of the
holofeature "Varn, World of Water." Aquatic life on the planet
includes large lossors and packs of cheeb, while Varn's population of
amphiboid fishers and ocean farmers inhabit its archipelagoes.
MAZEL
Bothawui (HTTESB): The bothan homeworld.
Sirpar (AJ#2 p.97) The Imperial Army's main facility designed
to turn ordnary citizens into brutal enforcers of the Emperor's will.
Churba (DFR p. 70-71): location of that ideal corperate
colony, New Cov.
Barhu (DFR): A boiling hot ball of lifeless rock in the Churba
system.
Agrilat (MTS): Agrilat contains a crystal swamp where an
illegal and dangerous swoop race between Dengar and Han Solo was once
held. Dengar was left with severe injuries and a burning hatred for
Solo.
Spefik (ROC): Two wings of TIE fighters attacked the
anti-orbital ion cannons on Spefik. The cannons were destroyed by a
salvo from pilot Ranulf Trommer.
Xyquine (LC): Three years after the Battle of Endor, New
Republic forces suffered what Han Solo called a "fiasco" at Xyquine. A
passenger transport was destroyed, and pilot Pash Cracken had to
invent the "Cracken Twist" to disguise the escaping ships' exit
vectors.
DRYDEN
Mandalore (#68-69): A humid, jungle planet. The capital city
of Kedalbe is actualy built into the trunks of the older trees.
Mandalore is the home of a group of Mandalorian protectors, of which
Boba Fett was a part of. While this group of commandos were off
planet, the planet was overrun by slavers sanctioned by the Empire.
Mandalore was now a conscription center, to feed the imperial war
machine. The remants of the protectors have been fighting to free
Mandalore ever since.
Questal (Game p.2): Was a profitable mining operation,
drawuing out valueable Ardanium. The Empire clamped down on the planet
assinging Moff Bandor to rule with an iron fist. The Imperials almost
cared about what happened there- until the ore gave out.
Oslumpex V (HSR): Vinda and D'rag, Starshipwrights and
Aerospace Engineers Incorporated, have their operation on Oslumpex V.
Han Solo's ship was placed on the Red List because he owed 2500
credits to this company.
Leria Kerlsil (AAC): Leria Kerlsil is a backwater world, but
is pleasant, clean, and quiet. Its capital city's streets are lined
with blue and purple trees, and the city is adjacent to a well-
maintained spaceport. The planet is the only source of "life-
witches"-- those who can sustain another's failing life for years but
eventually withdraw support, causing that person to die. Life-witches
appear rarely and are born seemingly at random. Karia Ver Seryan, a
wealthy woman who lives in a large, well- defended mansion, was one of
Lando Calrissian's marriage candidates until he discovered she was a
life-witch.
TRAX
Kessle (JS): Just outside of the Maw, a cluster of black
holes, Kessle is a potato shaped planet with one moon. The planet is
too small to maintain it's own atmosphere, so terreforming factories
consantly churn out air making it possable for people to survive with
just breath masks instead of full suits. the amosphere makes Kessle
look like an comet instread of a planet. Kessel is the major source of
spice, and a seat of underworld activity. Having made the site a
correctional facility, the Imperials maintained strict control over
it's distrubition with a iron fist. However smugglers still sought to
make a fortune by stealing what they could from the Empire and selling
it themselves.
Fwillsving (LC): A planet somewhat near Honoghr and Kessel.
Luke Skywalker considered visiting Fwillsving when he needed
replacement fuel cells for his X-wing.
Junfort Station (CSW #11): Much like Sluis Van in size and
scope, but where Sluis is respectable, Junfort caters to the darker
side. Ships get a lot of illegal modifications and equipment there.
Bounty Hunters are kept strictly away from the station.
Palanhi (DFR): Palanhi is a crossroads planet with a
reputation for exaggerating its own importance. The planet has
remained neutral in an effort to profit from both sides of the
galactic Civil War
Denarii Nova (DLOTS): A rare double star. The smaller star in
the pair periodically fed on plumes of flaming gas drawn from its
larger partner. This star system was destroyed thousands of years ago
by the Sith magician Naga Sadow in order to escape from a group of
pursuing Republic gunships.
GRIMALDI
Tyed Kant (nova): A gas giant located near Demophon, with a
handful of manned floating hydroponic farms. The farms are run by
several corperations such as Nebula Consumables, Gryseium Inc,
Imperial Meats and Produce and Premier Provisions.
Demophon (nova p.2-6): A heavily industrialized world, with
domed cities to filter out the planetary hard radiation. Byrn City is
the largest of the groups, with 90 percent of spaceport traffic routed
thru there.
Sljee (HSR) Intelligent, mulit-tentacled Sljee, from the
planet of the same name have low, slab shaped bodies. Nothing is known
about the planet.
Farrfin (LC p.70): A medium sized planet with high mountain
peaks, deep valleys, some techtonic instbility, and a number of
underground rivers. The planet was a popular refuge of smugglers in
the old republic, and was used by the rebellion on several occasions.
Lwhekk (TAB): The homeworld of the Ssi-ruuk, in a distant star
cluster. This planet is the center of the Ssi-ruuvi Imperium.

of Imperial probe droids was recalibrated to search for Rebels on
Allyuen, Tokmia, and Hoth.
Pil Diller (DA) Once home to a species of mournful singing fig
trees, according to the Holographic Zoo of Extinct Animals on
Coruscant.

panthacs. Han Solo and Chewbacca had an encounter with these animals
while on Mantessa.
LAHARA
Honoghr (DFR p. 74-77): Homeworld of the Nogri. Nobody really
knows of this planet's existance.
However smugglers still sought to
make a fortune by stealing what they could from the Empire and selling
it themselves.

suns. The planet has been under various states of revolt for at least
fifty years. It's a very annoying planet. There are very few humans
here.
Kelada (AJ#2 p.229): Major producer of walker parts and
repulsor componants. Lorana's Labyrinth, an oddly designed bar is
here, too.
Arcan IV (#79) Industrial, overpopulated, and crime ridden.
Just like new york 20 years from now. Very fun.
Obra Skai (HTTESB p.89-90): A massive libary, the sum of most
knowledge in the universe can probably be found here.
Krake's Planet (#63): One of the major Imperial data vaults is
located here, deep in a valley, protected by an energy field. hard to
get into, and harder to get out.
Terrijo (DFR): Located between New Cov and Pantolomin, Terrijo
is where Han Solo removed a homing beacon planted on the Lady Luck by
starship thief Niles Ferrier.
ROLION
Spira (AJ#1 p.58-59) Water covered pleasure world with a low
axial tilt, making it temperate over much of the planet.
Patch IV (#59): A big garbage dump for the sector. Solid
refuse of every type can be found here. It's the perfect hiding place
for contraband- which is why Adminastrator Feret uses it for just that
purpose. Feret's watch-beast, a giant worm (distant relitive of the
space slug, prehaps) keeps intruders away, and the native refuge
population on their toes.
Bazarre (#58-59): A large (and I do mean BIG) shopping mall
space station, run by Adminastrator Feret. Feret is a low life car
salesman who turned into a big time faclility manager, when he took
over the operation of Bazare. He's like a slimey Lando Calrissian.
Carida (JS): a truly important Imperial stronghold. Located
there is one of the main Imperial military training centers. Most of
the military hardware has been stripped away, but the ground forces
emplacements left still make the planet formidable. The Imperials
there are fanaticly loyal, and refuse to submit to the Republic.
Farda's Asteroid Belt (Rebel p.75): A location of an Imperial
communications base, that was the site of the first major battle using
B-Wings. The fight was a disaster for the Rebellion, due to a
compromised intelligence report.

water. However there is a hidden rebel base is located underwater
there, under the command of Sylver Fyre- ex boss of one of the biggest
band of pirates and mercs in the business.
LORAX
Biivren (AJ#2 p.239): minor industrial world, scuttled and
abandoned by the Empire.
Centares (#29) In the days of the Old Republic, Centaris was a
splended, popular resort world. Under the hand of the Empire, the
mineral rich lava was mined for industrial purposes. Within a decade,
the minerals were exausted, the planet contaminated by waste, and the
planet abandoned. Now its a backwater trading world and hiding place
for the criminaly inclined or desperate.

unstable planet. Thick ash in the atmosphere, makes the planet
tempature colder. A Harsh world.
LAMBDA
Vandelheim (#98): The metalsmiths of Vandelheim are a
superstitous lot. Without the venerated ones, the decendants of the
two families that first discovered the ore rich world, the guild feels
it can no longer produce worthy metals. This makes protecting the
ruling familiy very important if either side, republic OR empire
wishes to contnue using Vandelhiem as a supply source. Vandelhiem is
sourrounded by an astroid field, making aproaches intresting. The
planet itself, is an industrial world, consisting of mostly rocky
terrain.
Metalorn (#30): One of hundreds of Imperial factory planets.
The surface of Metalorn is chaos. Shifting grey ash, barren rock,
great fiery pits of molten slag dot the planet. Beineth the surface is
order. Clean, gleaming metal, filtered air, unending artifical light,
and the disciplined hand of the Empire. It is firmily intrenched, and
easly defended. Extensive weapons detection systems and inforamtion
control programs insure that the rebellion does not exist- even as a
rumor.
Vodran (GG#12 p.90-91): Vodrans developed on the Jungle world
of the same name.
Fondor (CSW #3): The industrial planet isnt of that much
intrest. However the extensive starship yards in orbit here, mostly
military and capital ship construction, are. Fondor was where the
first Super Star Destroyer was built. The system is HEAVLY Imperial
entrenched.
Empress Teta (TOTJ: Dark Lords): A system of seven words
located near the Deep Core, Empress Teta is a prime source for
Carbonite. Thousands of years ago, the worlds banded together, the
rich mine owners forming an elite socity, a tightly knited group that
reigned over the multitudes of the less fortunate. The tetan youth,
rich and bored, began dabbling in the lore of ancient magic. At some
point their experemenation turned into something far more serious- the
formed the Order of Kranth, an order dedicated to serving the Dark
Side.
Vjun (DE2): The planet Vjun contains Bast Castle, once the
private refuge of Darth Vader and later the headquarters of the
Emperor's Dark Jedi. The planet is lashed with acidic, burning rain,
and no plant life can survive on its bleak surface.
