Like the "Worlds" thread, I thought it would be good to have a thread dedicated to official adventures that are hidden in the various WEG products. The idea being: A GM could come to this thread and browse to find something for his game.
Should we have this thread on a sticky, too?
WEG's policy with 2E was to put an adventure in almost every supplement produced for the game. I always thought this was a grand idea. It makes it easy to play the game! Thus, there are a lot of "hidden" official adventures out there.

THE BATTLE OF WAYFAR
This adventure takes place on Tatooine concurrently, or immediately after, the events of A New Hope. A squad of sandtroopers murdered an entire hunting party of Tusken Raiders. Now, the Dune Sea is a battleground as the Sandpeople mass together and drive towards the small village of Wayfar.
This adventure starts on page 81 of Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope, 2E version. It is easily adapted to a different time period (really doesn't have to be concurrent with A New Hope), and it is a neat opportunity for the PCs to interact with Tatooine's Sandpeople, Jawas, and moisture farmers.
The adventure features an interior map of a desert homestead and a map of the village of Wayfar. Things like this can always be used for other adventures. Maybe you need the interior of a homestead real quick....
The adventure features a huge battle between a horde of Tusken Raiders and an entire town of human desert dwellers from Wayfar and the surrounding homesteads. In my opinion, this takes a skilled GM to run such an adventure. I wouldn't use this as my first ever WEG D6 Star Wars adventure. Large battles like this aren't easy to run and require an experienced GM who really knows what he's doing.
It can be adapted for use with the Star Wars Minature Battles, if you want to run the battles that way. Or, you can just run the game as suggested in the adventure.
In the hands of the right GM, I think this adventure could be a lot of fun and provide something different for the players--something other than your standard Rebel vs. Empire stories.
